FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
TIPS FOR CARING FOR YOUR FLOWERS
Take your flowers out of the wet wrap and cut their stems on an angle to expose as much flesh to water as possible.
The fresher the water the longer they last, so try and replace it at least every two days.
Keep the flowers out of direct sunlight if possible.
Continue to cut the stems to ensure they have access to water.
Don’t crowd the vase. Flowers like space to breathe. Enjoy!
WHAT ARE THE BEST TIMES TO VISIT THE FLOWER TRUCK?
We come straight from the flower market on Monday, Wednesday & Friday - so we have a truck full of flowers on those mornings.
Our business model is cash & carry - flowers as is. It’s best to come early (9am), if you would like the full selection.
HOW DOES THE FLOWER TRUCK WORK?
We work slightly differently to a traditional florist as we get our customers to help themselves!
We choose all of the best flowers off the auction & direct from growers, so we absolutely love guiding people with our tips, tricks & advice.
IS THE FLOWER TRUCK OPEN RAIN OR SHINE?
Yes, we are open rain or shine! That being said, during extreme weather events & thunderstorms we do reduce our hours - so it’s best to check our social media’s in those instances.
We are constantly updating our Instagram & Facebook with any changes to our hours (or any closures).
DO YOU MAKE BOUQUETS AT THE FLOWER TRUCK?
We are unable to do any ‘put togethers’ at the flower truck before 10.30am, as we work through our online orders first thing.
We welcome people who come down early to select their flowers & then come back after 10.30am (on any given day) to collect their arrangements.
There may be instances where we can accommodate people (if it is a quiet morning) But it’s always best to pre-order bouquets online.
DO YOU TAKE EFTPOS AT THE FLOWER TRUCK?
Yes, We take cash & eftpos, as well as paywave & credit - 1.5% surcharge.
DO YOU DO VASE ARRANGEMENTS?
Yes, we love making vase arrangements - whether you have a favourite vase or an event coming up.
We can make arrangements into one of your vases or lend you one from our collection. We have vases for sale on request.
